Suzanne Barlyn is a New York-based correspondent for Reuters, where she has worked since 2011. She writes about financial regulatory issues and, most recently, white collar financial crime. Previously, Suzanne worked for Dow Jones Newswires, where she reported on FINRA and wrote a column about compliance issues affecting financial advisers. She also contributed to The Wall Street Journal during her Newswires tenure. Earlier, Suzanne worked as a freelance writer for nearly 10 years after launching her career in journalism as a reporter for FORTUNE in 1994. Journalism is a second career for Suzanne, who previously practiced law.
She has a J.D. from American University and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
